Your Progress in the DIE RINGE App: Levels, Phases, Progress Bar and Weekly CalendarUpdated 12 days ago

Levels and XP Points
With every training session you earn XP points (experience points) and level up. Levels show how consistently you train but do not affect your training plan. You receive XP not only for main workouts but also for warm-ups, cool-downs, or achieving a goal. The higher your level, the more XP you need for the next one. Your level reflects your training routine and rewards continuity.

Training Phases
In the training styles Ring Training, Mobility, Bodyweight, Calisthenics, Weighted Calisthenics, Leg Training with Bodyweight, and Leg Training with Weights, there are 10 fixed phases. Each phase represents a stage in your training journey and often ends with mastering a key exercise, like your first pull-up. Phases show you where you currently stand and ensure your plan matches your performance level.

The names of the phases are always the same, in this order:

  1. Fundamentals
  2. Intermediate
  3. Advanced
  4. Pro
  5. Expert
  6. Master
  7. Grandmaster
  8. Legend
  9. Champion
  10. Gamechanger

This way you always know which phase comes next and how many are still ahead.

Progress Bar
Within each phase, a progress bar shows how close you are to moving into the next one. It only increases when you complete new progression steps—not just by finishing a workout or doing more repetitions. This makes sure the bar reflects your true skill progress.

Skill Training Plans
In special skill plans (e.g., Handstand or Muscle-up), there are no phases. Instead, the progress bar shows how close you are to reaching your goal. The logic is the same: the bar only moves when you master new progressions.

Weekly Calendar
The weekly calendar gives you a yearly overview of your training habits using colored circles:

  • Grey = week without training
  • Light orange = 1 training day in the week
  • Dark orange = perfect week with at least 2 training days
  • White = future weeks

The calendar appears at the end of a workout whenever you’ve completed a week that turns light or dark orange. Its purpose is to motivate you to train consistently and visualize your progress over the long term.

Summary

  • Levels + XP = reward for consistency
  • Phases + Progress bar = orientation for your training journey
  • Weekly Calendar = motivation for long-term routines

This way, you always have a clear picture of your progress—from single workouts to your big training milestones.
