How to synchronize my training data with Apple HealthUpdated 12 days ago
You can automatically synchronize your workouts from the DIE RINGE App with Apple Health. This allows you to see your training time directly in your health dashboard and helps close your Activity Rings automatically.
1. Which data is synchronized?
Currently, the DIE RINGE App exclusively transmits the workout duration (Time) and the date to Apple Health.
Are calories transferred? No, not yet. We made a conscious decision not to transmit calorie values for the time being because we want to ensure that this data is calculated with absolute seriousness and precision. Generic estimates do not meet our quality standards.
Will this feature be added? Yes, calorie calculation is on our development roadmap. As soon as we have integrated a reliable formula for calculating calories, this feature will be added via an app update.
2. Prerequisites
Device: An iPhone running iOS 15 or later.
Account: You must be logged into your iCloud account ("Health" must be enabled in your iCloud settings).
3. Setup & Permissions
Normally, the app asks you upon the first launch or after your first workout if you want to connect to Apple Health. If you declined this previously or want to change it later:
Open the Apple Health App (white icon with a red heart) on your iPhone.
Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner.
Under "Privacy," select "Apps and Services" (sometimes labeled just "Apps").
Find DIE RINGE in the list.
Tap on it and select "Turn On All" (or specifically enable "Workouts").

4. Settings in the DIE RINGE App
To be sure, please also check inside our app:
Go to the menu at Profile > Settings.
Make sure the toggle next to Apple Health is enabled.
5. Troubleshooting
If your workout times still do not appear:
Check if both iOS and the DIE RINGE App are up to date (check for updates in the App Store).
Completely deactivate the connection in Apple Health once and then reactivate it.
Restart your iPhone.
