How should I handle sets, reps, and rest in the DIE RINGE App?Updated 17 days ago

Repetitions and sets

Each set comes with a suggested number of reps. The goal is to complete them in one go.

  • If you can’t complete them: simply enter the number of reps you managed in one attempt and finish the set.

  • The app remembers your input and automatically adjusts your training to your current level.

Rest within a set

A set should be done without breaks. If you need to rest, just end the set and log the reps you completed.

Rest between sets

The app shows a predefined rest time, which depends on the exercise.

  • It’s long enough for your muscles to recover, but not so long that they “cool down.”

  • You can skip the rest if you feel ready earlier.

  • You can also extend it if you need more recovery.

  • Changing the default rest time permanently is not possible at the moment.

Alternating exercises (left/right, arms/legs)

Whether the rep count is per side or total depends on the exercise. This is always explained in the exercise description.

Dumbbell weight indications

Whether the weight shown applies per dumbbell or to both together is also explained in the exercise description.
