How can I adjust the intensity of my exercises in the DIE RINGE App?Updated 2 days ago

Sometimes the suggested exercise intensity may not fully match your current fitness level – for example, if you haven’t trained for a while or if you progressed faster than expected. In these cases, you can easily adapt your training within the DIE RINGE App.

Adjust exercises within the training overview

  • Open your training session and tap the settings icon in the top right corner.
  • Select Adjust Your Exercises.
  • Use the + / – buttons to make individual exercises easier or harder.
  • Note: Adjustments can only be made within your current training phase.

Change exercises for a single training session

Within the training overview, you also have these options:

  • Skip exercise: Leaves out the exercise for this session only.
  • Replace exercise: Replaces the exercise with an alternative for this session only.

What is not yet possible (in development)

  • Permanently excluding exercises.
  • Permanently replacing exercises with another exercise.
  • Adjusting weights for weighted exercises.

Switching to a different training phase

  • A phase change is only possible by re-assessing yourself in the respective training style.
  • Skills do not have phases and can only be adjusted via Adjust Your Exercises.

How to re-assess yourself (with Coach)

  1. Go to the Coach page.
  2. Tap the settings icon.
  3. Make sure your goal is set to “Upper Body Muscle Growth” or “Lower Body Muscle Growth.”
  4. Tap Re-assess and evaluate yourself realistically to get training plans that match your level.

How to re-assess yourself (without Coach)

  1. Go to the Discover page.
  2. Select the training style you want to re-assess.
  3. Tap the settings icon in the top right corner.
  4. Scroll down and select Re-assess Training.
    Note: Your previous training progress in this style will be overwritten.
